Let's bring Vitalik back to Switzerland. In April 2023, through a bit of dumb luck and the support of a dear friend Marko Hrelja, I was one of 200-300 people that were invited to be part of Zuzalu, a pop-up city being run for 3 months in Montenegro. Zuzalu was the brainchild of Vitalik Buterin himself, and because of his ability to attract some of the brightest minds from various fields (Web3, Longevity, ZK tech, and AI) it became something that felt as revolutionarily new and exciting as I suspect the Summer of Love felt in 1967. Since everything was very last minute, I only attended for a couple of weeks, but the experience was literally life-changing. The experience of living in a true community of peers was something incredibly special that is hard to articulate. Now Vitalik has put up $400k (300 ETH) for people who attended Zuzalu to take his vision and riff on it. Via Gitcoin's quadratic rounds, he's matching donations to new pop-up villages and cities around the world that build on the zuzalu vision. Una Wang, Marko Hrelja and the DAOVOZ crew, which includes such wonderful people as Victoria Citterio-Soelle and Daniel Dohne are now bringing Vitalik's vision to Switzerland, planning to host a 3-week decentralised leadership lab called ZuLead for 100-200 residents. Our vision is to bring together leaders from web3 and decentralised organisations, including those in more traditional impact fields, and promote active learning and problem-solving. Ultimately we want to grow the number of leaders with a deep understanding of decentralised leadership, and catalyse long-lasting meaningful relationships. Longer term we're looking forward to InnHub La Punt's completion and the possibility to host future events in their amazing facilities which are currently under construction. How can you help? As of today, 294 contributors believe in our idea for a pop up city in Switzerland... Last spring, I attended Zuzalu.city -- a pop up city focusing on Network States, Crypto, AI, Longevity. Vitalik Buterin started Zuzalu. Now, he's has put up 300 ETH in funding every quarter this year to fund new pop-up villages and open-source software that are aligned with the Zuzalu community's vision. Una Wang, Daniel Dohne, myself and the DAOVOZ team are aiming to host a 3-week decentralised leadership lab sometime this year-- ZuLead for web3 and DAO leaders. We want to make one of this year's main pop-up village events in Switzerland -- with InnHub as the venue.
