Prime Data Centers and Clune Construction Company celebrated 365+ consecutive days of injury-free construction at Prime's #ChicagoDataCenter campus in Elk Grove Village, IL. Full article: https://lnkd.in/epyCh8_r What's more, the milestone was achieved at a complex, three-story hyperscale data center project that will deliver 72 MW of critical power and 384,210 SF at full buildout with Prime's new generator buildings, low-PUE electrical design, and near-zero WUE thanks to a closed-loop cooling system enabling more than 100 kW-per-rack densities. This achievement was reached thanks to both organizations prioritizing #DataCenterSafety as a core organizational value, 360 degrees of training and accountability, and strong leadership from Clune's Dino Pastore, and Prime's Thomas Howe, Scott Anders, CSP, CHST, and Russell Langbein. Kudos to all of the tradesmen and women on this project who go above and beyond to make the right decisions and maintain a safe, clean, and organized construction site.

Danny's Construction Company, LLC is excited to be part of this global collaboration to construct the #bridge that crossed the #AtlanticOcean from #Italy to #NewYork prior to installation! Coordination efforts required more than one year of the team's attention to get every detail just right. "Danny’s Construction created 16 temporary bolsters, each seven feet tall, onto which the Manitowoc 18000 needed to place the four bridge sections for assembly. Proper placement was a meticulous process, requiring full-time engineering and survey support to direct adjustments of fractions of an inch. Next, the sections needed to be pulled together in preparation for welding. The fit-up tolerance for welding the segments together dictated that every connecting component of the bridge, at all three splices, simultaneously be within a plus or minus one-eighth-inch gap. 'Each section had steel plating guides to assist with precisely aligning the splices for welding,' said Joe Colley, project manager for Danny's Construction Company, LLC. 'It was like putting a plug into a socket – but a 660-ton crane was executing the movements with 170,000-pound bridge sections.'
