Women in Construction Week continued with a morning of volunteering at 4 Paws For Ability Inc Paws For Ability. After learning about the organization's mission and services, followed by a tour, we took the older puppies for a walk to help them burn off some energy. Then, we spent time playing with and cuddling a bucket of puppies, which contributes to their socialization. 4 Paws is a nonprofit organization that breeds, raises, trains, and places service dogs with children and veterans who have disabilities. We thank the organization and its employees for their time and effort. Our co-ops spent the afternoon enjoying food, drinks, and some friendly pickleball competition at The Pickle Lodge. It's great to see them connect and bond outside the office and off the job site, all while having a good time. #FutureofConstruction

It was a RUFF day at Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center! We made treats for the dogs while Waffles oversaw our progress and even taste-tested the peanut butter to ensure top quality. We then got to walk through the shelter and deliver the treats to the pups. Looking for a new furry family member? Students always love the VDC session of our NextGen Builders program! Our team showed Hughes STEM High School kids the ins and outs of VDC, giving them hands-on experience with the equipment they use every day.
