Receiving a DMSF scholarship allowed me to attend a high school that suited me best as someone who learns best with small class sizes and a community feeling with faculty, staff, and students. I learned that I enjoyed meeting new people, despite being a bit shy as a kid. ??For you, what does it mean to be a Murphy Scholar? ?? To me, it means that I have a community of supportive, encouraging people who looked after me while I was in high school and who genuinely care and want to see me succeed. ??What advice do you have for current Murphy Scholars? ?? You're doing great and it's okay to go a bit easier on yourself.
