Thank you to Massachusetts Governor, Maura Healey, for signing into law a bill that makes breast cancer screenings more equitable. Dana-Farber is proud to support the legislation which provides greater access to follow-up breast screenings & requires insurers to cover additional screening for patients with abnormal mammograms or dense breast tissue.

Every provider at Dana-Farber has a story shaped by mentors who shared their wisdom and guidance. In honor of National Nurse Practitioner Week (Nov. 10-16), we’re spotlighting Lindsay Margolis, NP, (left) in Head and Neck Oncology. ???? Lindsay’s journey to a clinical career began unexpectedly. With a master’s in nutrition, she initially aimed for nutrition communications. But during an internship rotation at Dana-Farber, Margolis discovered her passion for oncology. Her path was guided by incredible mentors, like Abigail Ciampa, NP, and Jason Glass, NP, who inspired and supported her every step of the way. Today, Margolis brings a unique perspective, blending her dietetic background with a compassionate approach to patient care. “I’ve ended up where I’m meant to be,” she shares. ?? Mentorship is at the heart of what we do, and seasoned providers like Lisa Doherty, NP, continue to guide Margolis in her role. This National Nurse Practitioner Week, we’re celebrating our entire NP team, and the mentors who help shape their journeys. ??
