As a female founder at Dame Creative, every month is women’s history month. For decades, women have been the chief purchasing officers of their families, the economic engines driving 85% of consumer spending. And although women are often advertising's favorite subject, we’re rarely its author. At Dame Creative , we create work with a unique sense of empathy and understanding of real human experiences—some might say, a uniquely female perspective. Because when you've spent your career translating your vision through someone else's lens, you develop exceptional clarity. You become fluent in both the dominant language and your own. You can code-switch between boardroom and living room because you do both every single day. That's not just a female perspective. That's a superpower. This women's month, I'm celebrating not just our agency’s unique perspective, but every woman who didn’t ask permission to lead. Who mentored women like me; who started something; who juggled a career, kids, aging parents, and all the other “human” in-betweens. After all, the future of advertising isn't female. It's human. And we're just getting started. Tag a woman who inspired you below.
