$130,572! That's the amount received for the August Match Challenge. $100,000 of which is doubled with a matching challenge grant. Thank you for pushing beyond goals and doubling impact of services that DLF provides for youth, prison reentry, food box distribution, workforce development, and revitalizing neighborhoods.

Nicholas Wallace received DLF's reentry support in 2015 through the pre-realease program at Hutchins State Jail, and today he owns Wallace Roofing Company. James Reed, DLF's Reentry Director, recently contacted Nicholas about replacing the roof on his home and got a chance to catch up. Mr. Wallace remembered what it was like nine years ago living in the program's transitional house. It was a place with a profound impact on his life where he continued to grow his faith in God while receiving economic stability. Want a career in the construction or electrical fields? DLF and Dallas College are offering skills training this fall at no cost.
