Join us February 15 from 5pm to 7pm to learn about and provide input to the County’s future transportation and land use needs and opportunities. Paulding County along with the Cities of Dallas, Hiram, and Braswell have initiated the process of updating our Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) and Comprehensive Plan. The joint effort is branded as “Charting the Course.” These plans will set the long-term visions for growth, development, and transportation across Paulding County and guide the strategies and actions to implement those visions. The CTP and Comprehensive Plan are separate but related documents and will be updated in parallel over the course of 2022 through a public process. The CTP will ultimately include project and other strategy recommendations and a fiscally constrained action plan while the Comprehensive Plan will include updated future land use plans and five-year community work programs for each jurisdiction. Community input is essential to facilitate actionable plans and resulting implementation initiatives and projects that accurately reflect the desires of those who live, work, and spend time in Paulding County and its cities. Alkaline zinc is the electroplated zinc coating preferred for zinc plating a bright zinc finish in deep recesses or inner diameters of parts where high throwing power is required. Acid-zinc electroplated coatings tend to be the better option when zinc plating heat-treated steel parts.
