关于我们
The mission of Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and to provide national leadership on child abuse issues. DCAC coordinates the investigation and prosecution of the most severe cases of child abuse in our community. Last year DCAC served over 12,296 children (and their eligible family members) who were sexually abused, severely physically abused, or who had witnessed a violent crime. DCAC provides a warm, child-friendly environment to help children who are referred by law enforcement or CPS. Our average client is a 14-year-old girl, sexually abused by someone she knows and trusts.

We are so excited to see what innovative ideas the SMU students come up with!
ADV3332 DMS2 taught by Dr. Quan Xie has partnered with the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center (DCAC) as the class client. Stephanie Horne, Director of Marketing, and Melinda Thompson, Marketing Specialist, from DCAC visited the class to deliver a client brief, introducing the organization and outlining the marketing and advertising challenges they currently face. Throughout the course, students will collaborate with DCAC to develop digital strategies for their 2025 End-of-Year Campaign and their 35th Anniversary Campaign, set to launch in early 2026. Top executives from DCAC will attend the final presentations to review the students' work and provide feedback. #smudallas #smuadvertising #dallasadvertising #DallasChildrenAdvocacyCenter #DCAC
