?? DART Breaks Ground on the New Silver Line Equipment Maintenance Facility in Plano! Yesterday, DART marked a major milestone with the ceremonial groundbreaking of the Silver Line Equipment Maintenance Facility in Plano, TX. This 40,000 sq. ft. facility will serve as the hub for cleaning, maintaining, and refueling our Silver Line vehicles, advancing North Texas transit options. DART President & CEO Nadine Lee shared, “The Silver Line is a major piece to solving the mobility puzzle in North Texas by providing a strong east to west connection between Plano and DFW Airport.” This facility highlights our commitment to sustainable growth and collaboration with the City of Plano, saving over $30 million in capital costs and positioning us closer to future transit solutions.
