Yesterday the Philadelphia Ballet Expansion project celebrated the topping out of steel! Team members and members of the company signed the beam, and key supporters of the project spoke to its importance to Philadelphia and a major cultural center on the world stage. The new five-story structure will extend the existing building to Broad Street, providing the company with an exciting new facade along the revived North Broad corridor. Once completed, the project will add new dance studios, office space, improved PT facilities, a new costume production space, and a premiere studio for dance performances. Today was a special day at the Apartments at St. Barts as we celebrated the opening of Phase II. This project is another of NewCourtland's trademark permanent senior affordable housing with supportive services properties, which pairs housing, healthcare, social, and wellness programs in an environment that promotes respect and dignity. Joe Duffey welcomed the 48 new tenants to the thriving community of 42 original tenants and all the neighbors who attend programs but live in the neighborhood.
