They founded "Queering the Fat Body," an initiative focused on empowering queer and trans people of color to access healthy food while challenging size-based discrimination. With a degree in sociology from Fayetteville State University and significant work with the International Civil Rights Center and Museum, Ashley brings a deep commitment to social justice and the wellness of marginalized communities.
