More progress at Linville Land Harbor Golf Club. Mike and Chris are currently rough grading which involves reshaping the land to create a smooth, playable surface and establishing an appropriate slope for subsurface greens drainage.

Linville Land Harbor Golf Club took a hit on the 15th Green and the 16th Tee Complex due to a landslide during Hurricane Helene. Our team broke ground Monday, March 17th to rebuild what the hurricane destroyed.

With 15+ years in the industry, he’s worked alongside top architects like Coore & Crenshaw and Rees Jones, shaping courses across the country. His journey started on the maintenance side while studying Turf and Soil Science at NC State, but after years in course renovations—including a two-year, 18-hole rebuild—he found his true passion in shaping. Now, he’s using his expertise to make every Dail Golf project the best it can be. And he doesn’t do it alone—his loyal sidekick, Birdie, is always by his side! ??
