This morning, the District 54 Education Foundation was proud to share the incredible impact our partners have had on supporting District 54 students and their families during the Schaumburg School District 54 Partnership Breakfast. A heartfelt moment came as Foundation Treasurer Dan Flores shared his personal connection to our mission. As a child, Dan and his family were supported by a program similar to the Foundation. Today, he is deeply grateful to be in a position to give back, helping ensure the success of students. We are truly inspired by stories like Dan's and the collective dedication of our partners, whose generosity fuels our work. Together, we are creating a brighter future for every child. Thank you for being part of this journey!

关于我们
The Schaumburg Township Elementary School Foundation, (aka D54 Education Foundation) was incorporated in 1987 to generate and distribute financial and other resources to the School District 54 community for enrichment programs and other projects aimed at enhancing the quality of education and providing students with extended learning opportunities. The Foundation is a qualified 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, chartered by the State of Illinois. The Foundation raises funds to support programs not fully funded by school budgets or tax dollars. Funds raised help to provide the following. ? Breakfast programs at all District 54 schools to ensure that students begin their day ready to learn - we are committed to raising $280,000 annually for this program. ?The Crisis Fund helps families meet the basic needs of students so that they can come to school ready to learn. Donations are used to purchase groceries, gas and other essential items for families experiencing financial hardships or troubled situations. ?Funding after-school STEM programs so that all students have the opportunity to become innovators, practice collaboration and be prepared for the exciting opportunities in their futures. ?Scholarships to students from low-income households to participate in extracurricular activities, so that they have the same opportunities as all children. The board of trustees meets on a quarterly bases to plan fundraising opportunities, award grants and develop growth strategies to expand the mission of the Foundation. If you are interested in serving on the board of trustees, please contact us at [email protected] or at (847) 357-5038.
