We help your team work better together to help you hit your goals.
关于我们
Studies show that most teams perform at 58% of their true potential. So what does it take to realize that full potential? Your teams have to develop in five key elements: communication, alignment, relationships, execution and capacity. You have to measure it with data, have content and training that develop each of them, and you have to have leaders that can multiply themselves into others. If you don’t have a robust people development plan (for yourself or for your team), we’d love to talk about how we can help. Our system has been used by some of the biggest names in technology, manufacturing, energy and military. Want to see our system in action? Sign up for a free assessment and account: www.WhatsMyVoice.com. If you already have a system for running your business and developing people, then maybe you just need to address a specific challenge or opportunity. It could be an inefficient business process that is costing you too much. It could be a need for a new innovative product or service to help grow revenue. In any case, we can help you start using workshops and our D4 Process to create thoughtful solutions. We can help you get you moving in the right direction. We're Micah and Mike, and we love helping people come up with thoughtful solutions. We love using our God-given talents and experiences across a range of businesses and non-profits to help others. It doesn't cost anything to start a conversation. We're here when you're ready to get unstuck and unlock your potential.

I don’t expect to get any likes or comments on this post. Almost every time I post about burnout, it’s like people are afraid to acknowledge it. I get it. No one wants to publicly admit it. But they admit it to me in private - in coaching conversations and in private emails. As a leader, you’re constantly giving…to your customers, to your team, your organization, non-profit boards, your family, your social network… And sometimes you give to the point of exhaustion. Been there. Not going back. For many of us, it isn’t just the endless hours: - It’s the constant mental strain - The feeling of never truly “clocking out” - Never able to truly disconnect - Lacking purpose or a clear vision for your life But what if I told you that burnout doesn’t have to be a foregone conclusion for busy leaders? The key? Hint: It’s not just taking a vacation. To escape this cycle takes creating a better lifestyle and work habits. A lifestyle with boundaries that allow you to perform at your best?and?maintain energy for what matters outside of work. Here are three (of several) strategies that have worked for me and the leaders I coach: 1. Set Boundaries for Your Smart Device?– Limit notifications and establish times to be completely offline. Reclaiming focus is essential. Don’t be one of those people that can be reached at all times. (And don’t expect it of your team!) 2. Implement The 5 Gears Framework?– Switch mental “gears” throughout your day to avoid burnout. Being stuck in one mode — whether it’s intense focus or constant communication — drains your energy fast. I’ve had a lot of success using this tool, and it has helped many of my clients. 3. Apply the 70-30 Principle?– Structure your week so that you spend about 70% of your time on high-impact work that energizes you and is a strength for you. Use the remaining 30% for tasks that are essential but less fulfilling, or that stretch you to grow in some way. These are just a few strategies that I use. These may seem simple, but they can really put you on the path to sustainable success and a healthy rhythm of life. That’s what prevents you from being at risk for burnout. Remember, burnout doesn’t have to be inevitable. When we prioritize our well-being and balanced rhythms in life, we strengthen not only ourselves but our entire team. And we set a good model for others to follow. Are you an executive leader ready to make the shift to a more balanced, powerful leadership style? Message me privately about our upcoming Mastermind in January. It’s a two-day intensive designed to transform your 2025.
