But it’s harming your and your client’s brand. This strategy might work wonders for one person or a specific group— But it doesn’t work for everyone. Everyone has different desires and expectations. I have three different clients: 1?? One is all about impressions and engagement (TOF). 2?? One wants leads + visibility for his profile (MOF). 3?? One wants qualified leads for her business (BOF). Now, will a fixed strategy work for everyone? And if it could, why would they hire me? They could just use a template and do it themselves. Every personal brand is different—so is their approach. Do free work. Give discounts. Or never do any work for free. Many freelancers (especially those who’ve just started) get stuck. They are attacked by 100s of advice online. I got paid by every client, even the first one. There are people who worked at minimum rates to land their dream clients. There are also people who worked for free to get their initial clients but now have a $100k inbound funnel. When you’re starting, do what moves your needle. And that might be different for different people. Focus on what’s most important ?? Getting your 1st client. Then the 2nd, 3rd, and so on. Take inspiration. But do what works for YOU.

"If you use AI, you are unfit for this role." A lot of creative professionals and agency owners say this. AI is seen as evil. Since there is a lot of debate around it, I won't go deep into it. However, letting your team use AI and learn automation is non-negotiable. If they don't know how to, teach them. And teach them the right way. I teach my team how to use AI to their benefit and ask them if they know better ways to automate/delegate low-value tasks. Hiring someone or wasting their talents on repetitive tasks like - Sending recurring invoices - Scheduling regular brainstorming sessions - Making MoM of call recording doesn't make sense. Instead, use their (and your) time and efforts more smartly. AI is more than a trend; it's a reality. So, instead of viewing it through a lens of black and white, start leveraging it.
