🏘️ Today, Education Policy Initiative Director Chelsea Coffin and Senior Education Research Analyst Hannah Michelle, MPP released "Housing affordability for early childhood educators in D.C., Part III." ✨ This report is the third in a three-part series that examines housing challenges for D.C.’s essential workers using the example of early childhood educators. The report’s key findings highlight that housing costs are too high for early childhood educators, making a second income necessary to afford housing expenses, although minimum wages required by D.C.’s Pay Equity fund do narrow the gap. ➡️ Read more: https://lnkd.in/eswnQa4G
