    In collaboration with National Cyber Security Centre, it was great to?attend the recent Manchester Tech Festival to welcome some of our NCSC For Startups alumni including: Richard Robinson at Cynalytica, Russell Kempley at CyberOwl, Stephen Kines at Goldilock, Guy England at ExactTrak Ltd, Shadi AR at ANGOKA, Giles Watkins at cyntegra and Peter Davies at Cyber Defence Service Ltd. ? Our alumni benefitted from a briefing with some of NCSC’s leading experts in critical national infrastructure?and operational technology (OT) security, focusing on the latest threat landscape, the common challenges OT operators are facing and the cyber vulnerabilities that are particularly difficult to mitigate against in cyber-physical environments.? ? This session was followed by a roundtable on securing OT technologies,?where our alumni shared their experiences protecting a range of vital OT infrastructure, from maritime and rail to utilities and defence settings.??? ? The roundtable explored potential new paths for cross-sector collaboration around OT security in the UK, lessons learned from other nations’ approaches to secure CNI and opportunities to better support the OT sector on their most pressing cyber vulnerabilities.?? ?
