?? Big Congrats to Nemanja Demic! ?? We’re excited to announce that Nemanja, a City Year Chicago AmeriCorps alum, has been honored in Service Year Alliance’s inaugural Service Year Alums Awards! ?? During his service, Nemanja made a remarkable impact by bridging cultural and language gaps in South Chicago and South Seattle. He organized bilingual literacy events, distributed Tigrinya-English books, and connected English-speaking educators with Tigrinya-speaking families, creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
