?? USAID Cybersecurity Activity convened a delegation?comprised?of five Ukrainian startups to attend the SelectUSA Investment Summit held outside of Washington?D.C.?on?June 23-26. SelectUSA Investment Summit, the?largest?investment event in the United?States?promotes business #investment by bringing together thousands of investors, companies, economic development organizations, and industry experts. The event attracted a record number of participants: more than 5,000 from 87 international markets and 56 countries and territories. ?? The delegation paid special attention to Ukrainian #cybersecurity startups and their development because cybersecurity is a critical aspect of business that requires attention to the human factor and the importance of quality equipment and qualified professionals. The five companies representing Ukraine included CyberJab iSolutions Labs, Cybersecurity Agency, a knowledge management platform; Cyber Unit Technologies - CyberUnit.Tech , a learning platform; Cybrex.ai, an AI-based content moderation platform; LetsData, an AI software that detects disinformation, deepfakes, and synthetic identities; and UnderDefense Cybersecurity, a platform on cybersecurity compliance and incident response management. ?? During their stay in the US, the startups met with representatives of US business and government agencies, including Marissa Lago, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, Oksana Markarova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States, and representatives of USAID in the Washington, DC office. Cybersecurity startups also joined two side events: on 22 June at Ukraine House in Washington, DC, and on June 25th at the Summit: Ukraine Technology Sector Investment and Partnership Opportunities event. We would like to share that Cybrex.ai participated in the 2024 SelectUSA Investment Summit as part of the Ukrainian delegation which was held from 23 to 26 June in Maryland. This incredible opportunity was made possible through USAIS Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine Activity, a vital initiative implemented jointly by Ukrainian Bridge and UNIT.City. Our participation was further supported by the U.S. Commercial Service and the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine. The delegations to the 2024 SelectUSA Investment Summit include government representatives, medium and large businesses, as well as start-ups, with special attention focused on cybersecurity. The delegation had the opportunity to present projects and technologies to investors, partners, and summit participants and demonstrate the development of Ukraine's technological capabilities.
