#MassCyberEcosystem, please help us congratulate our new Senior Interns! As we continue to grow and scale, Brian Grier and Daniel Rosen will provide both leadership and mentorship to our #cyber #SOC intern cohorts. Having gone through our internship program themselves, they understand what it's like to be 'in the thick of it,' while also serving as shining examples of what it means to succeed and move on to the next phase of their #cybersecurity journey. You're sure to see one or both of them at upcoming #CyberTrustMA events so make sure you say hello and find out what they are working on and towards next! #cyber #cybersecurity #cyberinternships BSU Cyber Range Bridgewater State University Salem State University

Our new interns are starting 2025 with rizz! While all #CyberTrustMA schools and programs get access to Immersive Labs through their formal curriculum, part of the intern experience is being able to focus on a broader set of topics specific to their #SOC work. Take Dana Kirkwood, for example. Although her semester hasn't started back up yet, she is taking advantage of her early internship experiences to gain some additional micro-credentials within the Immersive Labs' platform. Where IL allows her to test her knowledge and skills, our internship program then gives her an up-close, real-world environment to understand these principles in action. The outcome? Being that much more prepared to land her first #cyber job once she graduates from Elms College. Want to learn more about our #cyberinternship and when we're taking applications next? Contact Sam Porcello, SHRM-CP! Want to learn more about joining the #CyberTrustMA consortium? Contact Meghan Martinez, GCIH, GCFA, GCLD, CISSP to find out how we can support your students in being job-ready! #cybersecurity #cyberjobs #cybercareers #MassCyberEcosystem #womenintech #womenincyber #continuouslearning
?? Excited to share I’ve had the ability to sharpen my skills on Active Directory! ?? I’ve just earned my Active Directory (AD) badge after completing an intensive lab focused on mastering AD concepts and functionalities. ?? Here’s what I’ve learned: ? Effectively managing user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs). ? Implementing and troubleshooting Group Policy for streamlined network configurations and enhanced security. ? Setting up and connecting domain controllers to Active Directory, ensuring centralized authentication and network resource management. ?? Why this matters: Active Directory is a cornerstone of IT infrastructure, and understanding how to connect and secure a domain controller is critical for maintaining a secure and efficient network. This knowledge plays a vital role in threat hunting by: ? Identifying potential unauthorized access points. ? Monitoring suspicious activity within AD logs. ? Securing domain controllers against lateral movement and privilege escalation—common tactics in cyberattacks. ?? I’d love to connect with others in the IT and cybersecurity space. Share your tips, resources, or experiences with Active Directory and threat hunting below! #ActiveDirectory #ThreatHunting #Cybersecurity #GRC #ProfessionalGrowth #ITSkills
