In my second to last week in my #cybersecurity strategies class we learned about two important concepts: #duecare and #duediligence. Due care and due diligence are essential components of a robust cybersecurity posture. It's not just about compliance; it's about protecting your organization's assets and reputation. Due care is about taking reasonable steps to manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks. It's proactive, involving regular assessments, employee training, and system updates. Due diligence is about conducting thorough investigations before making decisions. This includes vendor risk assessments, incident response planning, and staying updated on the latest threats. By prioritizing due care and due diligence, organizations can significantly reduce their risk of cyberattacks and build trust with customers and stakeholders. #cybersecurity #duediligence #duecare #riskmanagement #datasafety
