Why is James holding a battery in the second picture? Because he's showcasing our battery-powered medical all-in-one PC, which features 3 hot-swappable batteries. Why pair a battery-powered AIO PC with a non-powered cart? It's lighter, more portable, and cheaper to maintain than using a power cart paired with a thin client PC and monitor. Power carts can be bulky, difficult to move around healthcare facilities, and expensive to maintain. Replacing the batteries in a power cart can cost over $1,000 each, depending on the model and usage. In contrast, replacing the battery in our battery-powered medical AIO PC costs just $100–$300, offering significant cost savings over time. Learn more about the CyberMed NB series from our Cybernet EMEA team: Darren Smith, James Lee, Guy Morgan, and Damian Fielding. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at the Digital Health #Rewired25 ! We loved connecting with all of you and sharing how our solutions can make a difference in healthcare.

Did you know that Ransom E. Olds, not Henry Ford, built the first assembly line? While Olds created the stationary assembly line, Ford developed the modern moving assembly line by adding conveyor belts. Ransom E. Olds had his employees line up next to the car’s chassis and attach their specific components to the vehicle, creating what became known as the stationary assembly line. Henry Ford had conveyor belts move cars from one workstation to the next in the factory. This meant employees only had one task to be responsible for, with cars and components brought to them during their shifts. Read more from Kyle Johnson about the benefits and challenges of automation in assembly lines.

Jae had a few retakes while filming our CyberMed NB series, featuring our battery-powered, all-in-one PC. However, when it comes to reliability, we take things much more seriously. How do we test our devices? As an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), we have complete control over the manufacturing process. This allows us to conduct overnight burn-in testing on every single device before it leaves our assembly line in Irvine, California. During the test, the device is pushed to the limits to ensure everything is functioning properly. This results in a failure rate of less than 0.5% during seven years of 24/7 usage. Have questions about our manufacturing processes? Email us at [email protected], and our team will be happy to help.

Challenges of AI in Engineering: Addressing Upfront Costs ?? The high-end GPUs that AI computers rely on are undeniably expensive. Therefore, companies must budget carefully and collaborate with computer manufacturers to find cost-effective solutions By doing so, they can develop systems that best suit their needs and maximize their return on investment. Partnering with an experienced original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is the best way to ensure this happens. Battery-Powered Medical Computer + Non-Powered Cart + Battery Charging Station = 24/7 Runtime Why can our computers last that long? Because of our batteries and charging station system. Whenever a computer finished using up a battery, it will show a red light. If the user replaces it with a fully charged battery from the charging station, the computer continues running without interruption. With two six-bay battery charging stations, you can support 12 computers running 24/7 because charging the battery is faster than the computer consumes it. Learn more about our medical-grade computers at Digital Health #Rewired25 on March 18-19! Visit our booth at B60, where Damian Fielding will be happy to give you a demo, or check us out at www.cybernet.us!

Are you looking for a cost-efficient, fanless, industrial grade PC? Watch Christopher Lynch introduce Cybernet's new iPC R30 Why fanless? Factories and manufacturing plants are full of metal and graphite dust, which can quickly ruin regular PCs. Their cooling fans suck in all that debris, covering the internal components and causing them to fail in just a few months. An industrial-grade, fanless mini PC is built to handle tough environments. Its sealed case keeps dust out, and the fanless design means there’s nothing pulling debris inside. Plus, it’s easy to mount anywhere, making installation a breeze. NVIDIA vs. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD): Who’s Winning the AI Battle? These two tech giants have been fierce competitors long before the AI boom, and the race to build the best AI-capable processors is more intense than ever. NVIDIA leads the pack with its expertise in parallel processing, the powerful CUDA toolkit, and over 600 pre-trained AI models—making it the go-to choice for developers. AMD aims to close the gap by investing heavily in AI by acquiring Silo AI, collaborating on OpenAI’s Triton project, and developing ROCm—an open-source alternative to CUDA. So, which one should you pick for your business? Get the full breakdown from Kyle Johnson below. ↓
