??To solve the skills deficit we need to put as much attention on reducing attrition as we do on new skills recruitment. ?? So how do we do that? Looking forward to our founder Peter Coroneos’ session with the inimitable Deidre Diamond and CS/TO Dom Glavach, CISSP on cyber workforce risk. Deidre and Peter share a similar view that building mental resilience in teams **should be recast as a risk reduction play** rather than the historic depiction as merely workplace wellness. We are getting traction with this narrative as orgs come to realize top talent doesn’t grow on trees. As our own Andrew Reeves reminds us, the loss of what he calls “tacit knowledge” a.k.a. direct understanding of hard-to-locate legacy issues, is hard, if not impossible, to replace.
