?? Our Head of Cyber Security Services vacancy closes this Thursday (6th March) ?? This role is key in making the businesses of Scotland more secure by providing guidance to improve their cyber controls, and other elements that contribute to building a healthy and mature cyber security posture. The right candidate will achieve this by leading and delivering the Centre’s cyber division and by providing a range of comprehensive cyber security advice and high-quality services to business, including corporate footprints, internal and remote testing, tabletop exercises and cyber awareness training. This role requires a deep understanding of cyber security principles, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to drive security initiatives from conception to completion. Great day with the Cyber and Fraud Centre - Scotland hosting 50 school girls for an afternoon tea, discussing all things cyber and how we can excite the next generation about a career in security. We heard from some great panellists but the highlight was hearing from the girls themselves about their interests and their impressive achievements! As part of #CyberScotlandWeek, Accenture were delighted to partner with the Cyber and Fraud Centre - Scotland to host the first of a kind event for students and the local cyber community. Joined by leading figures such as the Minister for Equalities Kaukab Stewart, Police Scotland DCC Bex Smith, Karis Hynd from NatWest and Jessica Amery from The Weir Group PLC (any many others!) the inspiration for the next generation was turbo-charged on display! But the best part of the day was hearing from some of the 50+ school girls attending and seeing the enthusiasm for exploring what a career in cyber may look like! Anyone who knows me they know I love cake! They also know I'm passionate about increasing cyber security awareness within the Third Sector. So the See It To Be It, Cyber Ladies Afternoon Tea hosted by Cyber and Fraud Centre - Scotland is my perfect way to spend the afternoon. Inspiring to hear from pupils from secondary schools from across Scotland discuss their hopes for careers in cyber. Thanks to Jude McCorry for the invitation, I loved it?????
