Excited to see our design in action during a field visit to Barnes Park! This stormwater capture system, tucked away beneath the park, will infiltrate and recharge the San Gabriel Valley Groundwater Basin—providing the yearly drinking water supply for 320 families of four. And the best part? You’d never know it’s there, quietly working to sustain the region. On the surface, Barnes Park is transforming too! We’re adding new futsal and basketball courts, playground equipment, soccer fields, dog parks, and more. A space for the community to gather, play, and thrive—all while making a huge impact on water sustainability. Can’t wait to see this project come to life. #BarnesParkMultiBenefitStormwaterCaptureProject #CWE #CreatingABetterTomorrowToday #CityOfBaldwinPark
