关于我们
The California Water Association (CWA) represents regulated water utilities that are invested in California water and the future of our state. There are over 90 regulated water utilities across California serving more than 6 million customers. Our members are water professionals who live and work in the communities they serve. They’re dedicated to building water infrastructure, supporting the sustainability of our natural resources, and delivering clean and reliable drinking water to customers and communities across California. CWA member companies are regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), an independent state agency responsible for establishing utility rates and guidelines for service. The CPUC shares responsibility for regulating drinking water quality with the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). CWA works with members to inform regulation that impacts our members and the customers they serve, while sharing our expertise with the CPUC, SWRCB, and other policy makers.

Grateful to see reflections like this from Dani Luna Morgutia on what the?Women in Water Leadership Seminar?is all about: connection, reflection, and empowerment. Appreciate everyone who joined us to share these important conversations!
Being in a room filled with women committed to public service and environmental stewardship at the California Water Association Women in Water Leadership Seminar today was POWERFUL. One of the highlights was hearing Liliana T. Pérez-Palacios, speak about her ever-evolving metamorphosis as a leader in the communications space. As a Latina, seeing someone with a similar background and upbringing share her experiences was both validating and inspiring. Holding space through reflection in our women's circle exercises with Janett Robledo, Jacquelyn Mercado, Karla Tejada, Alyssa Celones Senturk, and Yvonne was a profound reminder that vulnerability is not a weakness, but a source of strength and connection. I love working in water. But I especially love being surrounded by strong, like-minded women who are dedicated to serving others and protecting the environment. Thank you to the #CWA team and SoCalGas for creating a space for women in water to connect, reflect, and uplift one another. ??
