The inaugural Cuyahoga DD Scholarship with College Now Greater Cleveland will be awarded to the Fall 2025 Cleveland State University's RISE Program students. Cuyahoga DD Board member Sara, Leadership Council member Derek, Good Life Ambassadors Bre, Shaye, and Steven, staff, and CEO & Superintendent Amber Gibbs attended the DD Awareness & Advocacy Day at the Statehouse on March 4. During the event, they heard from Ohio advocates, leaders, and stakeholders about issues affecting people with disabilities while calling on the community and state officials to take action to create positive change. The Cuyahoga County advocates spoke with Senator Tom Patton (OH-24), Senate Minority Leader Nickie Antonio (OH-23), Rep. Terence Upchurch (OH-20), Rep. Bride Sweeney (OH-16), Rep.
