Custom Engineering specializes as a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system design consultant for construction and rehabilitation projects in commercial and industrial facilities. With each of our tenured design professionals concurrently serving as project lead representatives, our team ensures no project is under-valued. Custom Engineering provides one point of contact from project start to project finish, ensuring continuity of knowledge and correspondence for our clients. Our size provides a knowledge pool of diversity for team collaboration on project strategies and scopes requiring multiple disciplines and ranging in size from small rehabs to multi-million-dollar facilities. Custom Engineering also provides design of technology infrastructure including IT and network systems, communications rooms, voice and data systems, and backbone cabling. We also provide building commissioning services with certified commissioning agent on staff as well as a Local Project Agency (LPA) certified construction managers. Custom Engineering has been a certified MBE/DBE since 1992. We are a proud member of the United States Green Building Council promoting the design, construction and operation of high performance buildings. With multiple LEED? Accredited Professionals on staff, Custom Engineering is committed to designing a whole-building approach to energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality. Custom Engineering is on the leading edge of REVIT MEP building information modeling (BIM) and using BIM 360 Glue software to fly through the model and assist in clash detection. We are also proficient with Navisworks collision software and A360. As part of the team, we are providing final electrical construction drawings, specifications, bid, and construction phase services for Package 4: Dewatering Building, Concentrate Equalization, and BFP Building at Plant 2. ?? Our team has been in the construction phase for some time now, and we’ve achieved some incredible milestones: ?? Over 1,000 submittals processed with an average review time of just 14 days; ?? 247 RFIs addressed, with minimal impact on the project timeline or budget; ?? A collaborative approach ensuring very few change orders. We are committed to ensuring the continued success of the project and delivering quality, efficiency, and precision every step of the way. Excited to see how this project contributes to the future of water treatment in the region!
