Its 86-inch touchscreen and two-way camera system allow users to see a life-size live video feed of someone connected via another La Vitre anywhere in the world. This technology is meant to strengthen connections between teams on different sites, provide tech support solutions, and create new live event experiences by creating a more natural communication experience than traditional video calling methods. It features other tools for collaboration such as a shared whiteboard, media sharing and live translation of over 60 languages. Intelligent Dots is one of the many companies developing and showcasing cutting-edge technology at the lab. WenZhan Song, professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Georgia and creator of Intelligent Dots, demonstrated how their product Bed Dot is revolutionizing health monitoring. Bed Dot can be magnetically mounted to a bed, couch, crib and more and does not require any physical connection to the user. It uses very sensitive seismic sensors to detect a user's pulse, blood pressure and respiration rate through picking up vibrations.
