Building a world-class research enterprise at the greatest urban university in the world.
关于我们
The Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY) elevates scientific research and education at CUNY through initiatives in five distinctive, but increasingly interconnected disciplines: environmental sciences, nanoscience, neuroscience, photonics, and structural biology. The ASRC promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary research culture with researchers from each of the initiatives working side-by-side in the ASRC’s core facilities, sharing equipment that is among the most advanced available.

As a doctoral student in Biochemistry at the CUNY Graduate Center, Augustine Onyema has earned multiple fellowships to support his cancer research. He says the school gave him networking opportunities with alumni, captains of industry, and faculty that have “made me a better scientist and have given me an idea of what I will see after my Ph.D.” See what a Ph.D. from the CUNY Graduate Center can do for you https://lnkd.in/eUWiqxNp

Today I celebrate my first month as Assistant Professor at Advanced Science Research Center, GC/CUNY in the Structural Biology Initiative. I am not great at making announcements, but I am incredibly grateful for this amazing opportunity and to @OliBClarke for his mentorship that helped me get here. The Vallese Lab is opening its doors! Be prepared
