OUR MISSION Enrich life in Northeast Florida by investing in Arts and Culture. The Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville is the Jacksonville official organization solely dedicated to supporting arts and culture in Greater Jacksonville. Our missions is to build relationships and enhance communication with artists, cultural organizations, educational institutions, and the public at large. We advocate for public and private financial support for the sector as well as promote arts and cultural events, projects, and initiatives in Northeast Florida. We believe it will take vision and innovation to ignite the creative spark that will lead Jacksonville to realize its potential. As community leaders we must represent and serve the interests of the cultural sector and the public at large with energy and integrity. We believe in the process of creating quality places in which people want to live, work, play, and learn, as well as using arts and cultural strategies to implement community-led change. We also know that everyone benefits from access to arts and culture and we are committed to championing policies and practices of cultural equity that empower a just, inclusive, equitable city.
