I got my first ink last week ?? I didn't realise why it was so important until today. These symbols represent who I am and what I unapologetically choose to do in the world. They represent the work of creating space for others to be with themselves. That sounds simple doesn't it? I have held space for people to face their deepest fears, most painful wounds and unconscious self sabotaging patterns. People facing life's challenges head on even when it scares them and they don't know what's next. Working with me is liberating. It provides space for transformation, creation and relationship. It's not an online group program promising the world and delivering very little. I work with people individually to meet them where they are. I stand at the crossroads. I am at another one of my own today. If you find yourself there and want company give me a call. Or let me know what is your rebellion in the world? P.S. This tattoo will be rather a shock to my Mum but I do think it's a celebration of the Harrison women in my family line that she is part of. The rebellion is strong in us.

As the year comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on this quote by John Mackey. At CultureTalk, we believe this sentiment is not just aspirational—it’s actionable. Employers have the opportunity to create workplaces where individuals feel connected, valued, and inspired to achieve results together. And it all begins with a culture that is intentionally designed and nurtured. Our work with organizations has shown us that culture becomes tangible when leaders commit to making it so. Here's how we and our CultureTalk Certified Partners help our clients transform #culture into a competitive advantage: ??Frame It: Define a shared language for culture using Archetypes to make it accessible and actionable. ??Measure It: Assess where your organization stands today and uncover gaps between intention and experience. ??Scale It: Equip leaders and teams with tools to embed culture into every layer of the business. ??Sustain It: Build long-term strategies to keep your culture aligned with evolving goals. ??Share It: Celebrate and amplify the unique cultural strengths that make your organization remarkable. When leaders prioritize these steps, the result is more than just improved #engagement or #retention—it’s a workplace where people genuinely look forward to showing up, collaborating, and contributing. As we prepare for the new year, we encourage you to reflect on your organization's culture. What’s one step you can take to ensure your team starts each day with #purpose and excitement? Let’s make 2025 the year we make work better—for everyone. ??

Is there a gap between the behaviors we expect in our organizations and the behaviors we tolerate? Many organizations believe they’ve laid out clear culture expectations. And they point to a trail of evidence — it’s written into our values and posted on the website, it’s spelled out on inspirational posters, it’s boasted about in recruiting campaigns and executive-led onboarding sessions. Done well, it’s embedded in policies and programs. Yet, if we were to point them to actual behaviors, we might uncover a different reality. We're sharing our Culture Killers Self-Assessment below, which can help you start to uncover where those gaps might be. While we all observe the actions and attitudes that break with our stated culture, we are often not allowed to talk about them. To add more complexity, the things we tolerate generally shift over time. And, there is another problem that is hard to account for. Culture often evolves organically in ways that are difficult to articulate or enforce. It’s found in the “unwritten rules of engagement.” Consider for a moment the messages your organization sends through its actions around: ??Family needs ??Humor in the workplace ??Health and wellness ??Learning and career growth ??Activism (Justice related events and the climate crisis) ??Political endorsements or outcomes There are many reasons we tolerate misaligned behaviors. From hitting sales targets and launch dates to running short on patience and time, we believe that letting things go just this once won’t have a real impact. It can be painful to honestly evaluate how far we may have slid from our intentions. Read our blog "The Behaviors You Tolerate Might Be Killing Your Culture" for a deeper dive on this subject: https://lnkd.in/gMWSz2pK

Conscious culture and purposeful branding. Do more good, amplify your impact and become the brand of choice. When you step up, you stand out. Purpose | Culture | Branding

"?????? ?????????????? ???? ?????? ???????????????????????? ???? ???????????? ???? ?????? ?????????? ?????????????????? ?????? ???????????? ???? ?????????????? ???? ????????????????." This quote stopped me in my tracks recently, and here's why... ?? (Steve Gruenart and Todd Whitaker). . Culture isn't just about mission statements, values or policies. It's the DNA that runs through every interaction, decision, and relationship in your organisation. . Culture manifests in those ?????????????????? ?????????? that govern how people treat each other, leadership styles, the office humour that bonds teams together. You see it in approaches to career development, attitudes to work-life balance, and how inclusion is genuinely practiced day-to-day. . Think about your workplace: ?? ??What behaviours get rewarded? ???? Which actions get overlooked? ?? ??What stories do people tell? ? ??How do teams handle pressure? ?? ??How does your team cope with change? ?? ??What makes someone a 'cultural fit'? . In my work with clients, I've discovered that shared values aren't captured in any handbook – they live in the hearts and minds of your team. Real culture shows up in daily attitudes and behaviours, while team dynamics reveal core beliefs. It's those informal networks and connections that tell the true story of your organisation's culture. ?? . Here's what I've learned about culture: ? ??It's an asset that can be measured ?? ??It can be intentionally managed ?? ??It determines how ?????????????? becomes reality ?? ??It's built through everyday moments ? ??It's your secret ingredient for organisational success . A 'good culture' isn't just ???????? ???? ???????? – it's the very foundation of organisational success. When ?????????????? is your North Star, culture is how you navigate toward it. ?? . The organisations I work with understand this. They know their culture is what sets them apart – making them the best places to work, attracting and retaining the best talent and enabling them to deliver meaningful impact. . Ready to explore your organisation's cultural DNA? Let's connect and discover how to align your culture with your ?????????????? for maximum impact. ?? . What aspects of your organisational culture make you proud? What elements would you like to strengthen? . #OrganisationalCulture #LeadershipDevelopment #PurposeDrivenCulture #EmployeeEngagement #CultureChange
