We agree! A peace economy is not only needed, its natural. Nobody says "oh look at all that risk and instability, let's invest into that!" Peace promotes growth. You can't grow a garden in a field while its being trampled, only after it settles can you feed a healthy and vibrant community.

AICT Group | Conflict Transformation, Prevention, and Peacemaking with AI ... Company's Natural Identity | Branding und Identity authentisch und klar kommuniziert ... Life, Quantum and AI enthusiast

?? *Why Peace Needs Its Own Economy* Wars and conflicts have become major economic drivers. The arms industry is deeply embedded in our global systems—creating jobs, driving technological advancements, and shaping political and economic realities. It promises security while using intense lobbying to anchor itself in the global consciousness. But this security is an illusion. Global defense spending has surged year after year, surpassing $2.2 trillion in 2022, according to SIPRI. These investments don’t just respond to existing threats—they often drive new conflicts. The result is a dangerous spiral: more spending on weapons leads to a greater reliance on military solutions, increasing polarization and legitimizing war. The arms industry operates as part of an economic system fueled by growth—a natural driver of conflict. It thrives on supply and demand, creating a paradox where disarmament seems na?ve because it could disrupt the global economy. This is why peace efforts often struggle to gain traction: peace lacks the same economic force behind it. ? *It’s time to shift the paradigm* We need a peace economy—a potent alternative that creates jobs, advances research, and drives innovation. Unlike the arms industry, which thrives on division, this ecosystem would build on unity, cooperation, and synergy. By embedding non-violent conflict resolution into our collective consciousness, we can make peace not only desirable but indispensable to global stability. Players like B Ventures Group are already strengthening the PeaceTech market through investments, while innovators like CulturePulse are leveraging their technologies to make a real difference. We at AICT Group are just beginning to explore how technology can empower not only nations but also individuals and businesses to tackle conflicts at every level. Whether it’s personal disputes, workplace challenges, or larger-scale crises, the tools of a peace economy can create sustainable and proactive solutions for a more harmonious world. #PeaceEconomy #PeaceTech #AICTPeacemaker

Our CEO Justin E. Lane in Talin for the Integratsiooni Sihtasutus conference on integration and cohesion discussing how AI approaches to radicals needs a radical approach to #ai! The full video of the conference is available in the comments.

Using AI to bring people together | We’re hiring!

I was really happy to present in Tallin earlier this month and represent CulturePulse and the ústav etnológie a sociálnej antropológie SAV / Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology SAS. Joining a great panel of people, we were able to discuss key issues in radicalization and how to best balance the real security threats proposed by radicals, while also pushing for greater integration of people who are often at risk of radicalization in Europe. The Q&A was particularly interesting, as there was a general feeling of post-election anxiety that I hope we were able to leave with the understanding that from a foundation of data and informed policy making, next year is not likely to be so different from the last. Some things will be better, some worse, some unchanged. Its more up to us than we often realize.

In recent weeks, a wave of anxiety has arisen around proposals to cut funding and potentially investigate organizations involved in mis/disinformation research. At CulturePulse, our commitment to integrity and transparency is unwavering as is our commitment to free speech. We stand by our work in mis/disinformation research and welcome discussions with any policy makers about our previous work and how it contributed to addressing key social issues while upholding a commitment to free speech and actively pushing against censorship.?? Our research and analytics platforms are built upon rigorous scientific methodologies and validated through peer-reviewed standards. We do not engage in, nor endorse, any partisan agendas or biases to the best of our ability in our research. Policy and society only move forward when they are based on a foundation of facts.? Our mission is to leverage psychology-first AI to foster understanding and informed decision-making, especially in conflict and risk analysis but also in the area of strategic communication and social media analytics. What's going on in #Georgia!? As your newsfeeds are likely to start showing, significant unreset has been picked up in Georgia. The #ARES system is showing the 3rd spike in recent months, with a clear instability signal starting 3 days ago. From ARES: "The political atmosphere in Georgia is currently tense, with significant events unfolding that may impact the country's stability. Opposition groups are actively protesting, demanding new elections, and expressing discontent with the recent electoral outcomes. These events are occurring against a backdrop of regional instability, particularly in Abkhazia, which is witnessing civil unrest against Russian influence. Additionally, the European Union is engaging in discussions about Georgia's internal situation, indicating international concern and involvement. Key Points: Protests in Tbilisi:?Opposition protesters have set up a tent camp on the main street in Tbilisi, demanding new elections. This indicates a significant level of public dissatisfaction with the current government and election results. Abkhazia Unrest:?In the region of Abkhazia, protesters have reportedly assaulted the parliament and presidential complex, rebelling against Moscow's influence. This highlights regional tensions and the potential for wider instability. EU Discussions:?The European Union is actively discussing Georgia's current situation, reflecting international attention and potential diplomatic consequences for the nation's political trajectory. Election Disputes:?There are ongoing disputes regarding the recent Georgian elections, with opposition groups not accepting the results, leading to continuous protests and public demonstrations. EU Funding Concerns:?Josep Borrell, EU's foreign policy chief, has mentioned that the EU might redirect over €100 million towards Georgia's civil sector, suggesting a strategic shift in financial support amidst ongoing political tensions."

Investing in PeaceTech startups & teaching you how to negotiate | B Ventures, VC fund, Founder

Every year wars costs us ~$19T. Here's the crazy part: Funding ($) to prevent conflicts like this see LESS THAN 0.2% of that. To stop wars, you DON'T NEED: - Endless red tape - Bureaucratic, 20-year plans - Negotiations with no real action I joined B Ventures Group because I believe VENTURE CAPITAL can fuel peace & conflict resolution. More bottom-up solutions. Less top-down fixes. Here's what I'm hopeful for: - A safer world (for everyone) - Faster, sustainable conflict resolution - Smarter negotiators making better, more human-centered decisions - Startups creating PROFIT & PEACE - 100x+ returns for investors who are early on PeaceTech CulturePulse shows what's possible with a "Multi-Agent AI model for Conflict Resolution." This inspires me and deepens my faith for the next generation. If you're an investor (ie. family office), tech founder, or curious about how tech can prevent conflict, reach out. PS - if we aren't connected, send me a request so I can DM you!???? PSS - Dr. Stephan Klement (seen below) led one of the toughest modern negotiations: IRAN'S NUCLEAR DEAL. As the world watches the #election in the #unitedstates today. Here is what ARES has to say: The sources primarily focus on the upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential election, featuring a tight race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. There's heightened concern about potential election-related violence leading states and cities to increase security measures. The geopolitical tension is also at play with North Korea launching missiles as a show of force, while international relations are affected by U.S. election outcomes. Domestically, political polarization is evident, with some Republican-led states resisting federal election monitors. Key Points: U.S. Presidential Election Tensions:?The U.S. is on edge as Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are in a deadlock in the presidential race. There are concerns over potential election-related violence, leading to increased security measures across states and cities. North Korean Missile Launches:?North Korea has fired ballistic missiles into the sea, a move seen as a show of force ahead of the U.S. election, adding to geopolitical tensions. Federal Monitors and Election Integrity:?Some Republican-led states are refusing to allow Justice Department monitors into polling places, citing concerns over federal overreach and election integrity. Geopolitical Implications:?The U.S. election results are expected to have significant international impacts, particularly concerning NATO and Middle Eastern policies. Allies and adversaries alike are closely monitoring the election outcome. Boeing Strike Resolution:?In domestic affairs, a historic strike at Boeing has ended with workers accepting a new wage proposal, showcasing labor tensions amidst a politically charged climate. Conclusion: The 2024 U.S. presidential election is proving to be a pivotal moment for both domestic and international politics, with potential implications for global stability. The tight race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is exacerbating domestic tensions and fears of violence, while international actors like North Korea are leveraging the situation for geopolitical gains. The refusal of some states to allow federal monitoring of polling places highlights ongoing debates over election integrity and the balance of power between state and federal authorities. As results begin to come in, the world watches closely, understanding that the election outcome will likely shape U.S. foreign and domestic policies for years to come.
