Try this: Do an Energy Audit Today Grab a piece of paper (or your notes app) and write down: ??What energizes me??(Tasks, people, habits, activities) ??What drains me??(Meetings, distractions, obligations, certain environments) Now, take action: ??Increase what energizes you.?Schedule more of these tasks and interactions into your day. ??Minimize what drains you.?Can you delegate, automate, or eliminate certain tasks? For years, I thought balance meant splitting my time evenly between work, family, health, and personal growth. But reality doesn’t work that way. Some days, work requires more of me. Other days, family, rest, or self-care take priority. And guess what, that’s?okay! Balance isn’t about equal time—it’s about alignment with what matters most. The real secret is intention. Here are a few examples of intentionality: ??When you’re working, be fully present.?Focus on your tasks, set clear goals, and protect your work time. ??When you’re off, truly unplug.?Close the laptop, silence notifications, and give yourself permission to be in the moment—whether that’s with family, completing a fun hobby, or simply resting. One of the best things I started last year was defining my?non-negotiables—the things I refuse to sacrifice no matter how busy life gets. ?? Family time ?? Unplugging on the weekends ??
