Dan is Professor of Cultural and Creative Industries at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. His work spans education, research, and creative practice, with a focus on place and policy, organisations and work. His recent projects explore?cultural strategies, qualitative data and place-based decision-making, and creative ecosystems. In addition to his academic role, Dan is a Policy Fellow with the Southampton Institute for Arts and Humanities, where he engages with cultural policy and sector development.
