Utilizing tools in my own marriage has aided both my husband and myself in understanding not just how we react, but why we react in a particular way. I have worked with staff to create understanding of work styles, communication preferences and personal value to build trust which leads to better engagement and productivity. Glancing out my kitchen window as I cook breakfast this morning, beauty caught my eye. This is the only one in my flowerbed that has bloomed this year. It bloomed brilliantly, standing tall, for the second time. What makes it even more special? It is just a mere 2 days after we were hit by Hurricane Beryl. It showed its blooming beauty about the same time our power was restored. It serves as a reminder that even though tough things happen, we can persevere and let our inner beauty shine through.
