Meet Simon Limage, PMP, Vice President of Culmen's Global Advisory & Management Services Division. Simon leads diverse globally dispersed program teams executing over 40 contracts supporting multiple federal agencies, programs, and international organizations. He ensures the delivery of training, personnel logistics, international capacity building, program management support, procurement, and event management. The programs he leads support national security and civilian agencies, including the Departments of State, Defense, Energy, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, the CDC, and the Defense Health Agency. Simon also provides senior subject matter expertise and contributes to strategic planning and company growth. Prior to joining Culmen, Simon served in a variety of capacities in the House and Senate for a decade and at the State Department (DOS). He was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Nonproliferation Programs. In this role he managed 120 staff and $200 million in global programs that reduce the threat posed by weapons of mass destruction. Simon was the United States Representative to the Boards of the International Science Centers based in Kazakhstan and Ukraine and served as the U.S. co-chair of the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism. Within the Department of State, he has served as chief of staff for the Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security. Simon holds a Master’s Degree in Foreign Service and a Master’s in History from Georgetown University as well as a B.S. in International Relations and a B.A. in History from Tufts University. He is a non-resident scholar at George Washington University’s Elliott School in the Institute for Security and Conflict Studies and is fluent in French. Throughout his career he has received several awards for superior management and for his role in the removal of chemical weapons from Syria and Libya and for ratification of the New START Agreement. He is an avid trail runner, a fan of Nordic crime novels, and enjoys travelling with his family. Culmen is an extraordinary place for extraordinary people and we are thrilled to have Simon as a leader on our team. #CulmenCallout

23 years ago, we watched in stunned disbelief as the United States was forever changed.?The souls that were lost at the Pentagon, Twin Towers, and in Pennsylvania were irreplaceable treasures.?The heroes that rose to protect others, stirred the hearts of the nation towards unity.?For those who lived through it, the sights, sounds, and emotions marked us eternally.?May we never forget those we lost and always honor the great gifts of sacrifice on September 11th, 2001.
