Community support is essential to cancer recovery. In fact, having a strong support system can reduce the risk of mortality for cancer patients by up to 25% (JMIR Cancer). That’s an incredible reminder of just how important it is for people with cancer to feel connected and supported. Having people in your corner can make all the difference in the world. And we’re incredibly grateful to have the caring team at Atmosphere in our corner, partnering with Culinary Care to make an impact. Your support is helping introduce our mission to new people in Dallas, allowing us to nourish more cancer recoveries. You’re helping us deliver more than meals—you’re bringing nourishment, hope, compassion, and connection to those who need it most. Thank you to the team at Atmosphere for understanding and championing the power of community support! Peter Schofield Jaci McCollum #cancercommunity #community
If you were dining in Dallas last week and looked up at the TV screens, you may seen an ad from Culinary Care (thank you Atmosphere)! But, what you don't see in this ad is the fact that an estimated 1.2 million people will go through outpatient chemotherapy treatment this year and hospitals do not provide meals during this time. It's one of the many reasons we're working to make nourishment part of cancer care. As Haylie Gulasey so perfectly communicated in her copy, you can be the reason someone eats during chemo today >> culinarycare.org/theline

1.2 million people will undergo chemotherapy this year. Because chemotherapy is an outpatient treatment, these 1.2 million people will NOT receive meals from the hospital. BUT, there's hope... Culinary Care is the ONLY program filling this void. This year, we're on a pace to change the course of cancer treatment for 900 families -- ensuring a warm meal is waiting for them while they receive their life-saving care. To celebrate, we're hoping to fill Chicago's Union Station with 900 people, and we're over halfway towards this goal already! Will you join us? >> culinarycare.org/gala

Far too many cancer patients struggle with food and isolation — 1 in 5 cancer deaths are a direct result of malnutrition, and 1 in 3 patients report feeling lonely. In just one month, over 750 people will come together to help change these statistics. The Gourmand Gala is about so much more than the 30 chefs, casino games, and magic you'll experience; it’s about restoring strength, creating moments of joy, and giving more time to cancer patients and their families. We're going to print on November 1st and would love to include your company as a sponsor. Join us >> culinarycare.org/gala

"To be honest, I'm swamped right now, but I know this is important and the holiday season will be here before we know it." ?? MORE OF THIS, PLEASE! I reached out to a partner at a law firm about sponsoring a Culinary Care event. That was her response. She's busy, but she's prioritizing making a difference. We all have the same 24 hours in our day. How are you making the most of them? If you've got 30 minutes and want to help ease the burden for cancer patients, comment below ??

As you're thinking about your lunch, will you do this one thing to make sure cancer patients also have a lunch to think about? Reserve a VIP table at our Gourmand Gala on Thursday, November 14th. This single act of generosity can give five families the chance to look forward to lunch during every single chemo treatment for an entire year. But, the ripple effect is even more profound... When you give a lunch, meals don't get skipped. When meals don't get skipped, families can concentrate on healing. When families can concentrate on healing, their chances of survival increase. For you, it may be a chance to impress clients or colleagues. For families fighting cancer, it's everything. Reserve your table today >> culinarycare.org/gala

When one door closes, another opens—if you seek it out. ??? Last week, we learned that a foundation we've relied on for the past five years is shifting its focus away from cancer support. We have a new door in sight, but we need your help to open it. If you want to ease the burden of cancer and be the reason someone finds comfort and hope, I invite you to consider sponsoring our upcoming gala or purchasing a table. You'll help us turn this challenge into an opportunity to support those who need it most and get to enjoy an incredible night out. Comment below or message me to learn more about sponsorship opportunities and how you can make a difference. culinarycare.org/gala #Sponsorship #SupportCancerPatients #CulinaryCare #CommunityImpact #Gala #Opportunities #MakeADifference
