CREC Linemen are here to help! This week, 12 hardworking CREC linemen have been in action at Black River Electric, helping to restore power to communities hit hard by recent storms. They’ve been working tirelessly alongside other co-op linemen to repair the damage, including fixing over 300 broken poles to bring the lights back on. Huge shoutout to our dedicated team and all the other co-op linemen for their commitment to service and safety! When the power goes out, they step up. Thank you for representing CREC with pride! #CRECLinemen #PowerRestoration #MutualAid #CommunityStrong

关于我们
Cuivre River Electric Cooperative (CREC) is headquartered in Troy, Missouri, with a branch office in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. CREC's mission is to be a progressive leader in the energy industry, empowering employees to serve our members using innovative energy solutions, while safely providing reliable service at the lowest possible cost. We aspire to be a trusted energy partner that is prepared to embrace opportunities in a changing utility industry while providing our members with maximum value and improving our communities. CREC doesn’t have shareholders or customers; we have members, and we’re not only committed to providing them with reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy, but we are also passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our 70,000+ members in Lincoln, Montgomery, Pike, Warren, and St. Charles counties. We are involved in our local schools and have contributed back to the community through the Operation Round Up grant program and energy efficiency rebates to residents and businesses in our community. Although we’re local and independent, we’re also part of something bigger: across the country, local cooperatives work together to develop new technologies and infrastructure. We’re a driving force in helping attract and grow business and industry to our area. And we’re always looking for new ways to help our members save energy, save money, and take advantage of the more efficient technology that’s changed the way we live. We’re also a great place to work. We’re uniquely positioned to be a force for good in our community. And we invest in our employees through ongoing education and training, so we can better serve our members in the places they live, work, and learn. That’s just one of the seven cooperative principles CREC and all cooperatives follow. To learn more about CREC, visit cuivre.com.

After Friday's severe weather, CREC crews worked hard overnight Friday into Saturday and were able to get outages restored. As other co-ops around the state continue to deal with outages, 12 CREC linemen left early Sunday morning to help our friends at Black River Electric Cooperative in Fredericktown in their restoration efforts as they are currently working to replace and fix over 100 broken poles. Thank you to all the lineworkers around the state for working hard, no matter the conditions! #MembersFirst #cooperationamongcooperatives
