  • ???Senior Spotlight??? Navily Zhen Navily’s hometown is Philadelphia, PA. She is an Environment & Sustainability Major. Her interests include sustainable fashion and beauty, journaling, and café hopping. She aspires to become involved in Environmental Consulting/Corporate Sustainability and incorporating environmental justice into her work. Navily is a Lead Communications Coordinator and got involved in CUDAA after hearing about it from a friend and her participation in UAO panels. She wanted to join CUDAA to make an impact on prospective students by sharing her Cornell experience, especially with those who are BIPOC or the first in their family to attend higher education. Her favorite CUDAA memory is the End of Semester Celebration from the past Spring. She enjoyed meeting past CUDAA leadership, sending off graduating seniors, and celebrating all of the team’s hard work with food and music. She encourages students to join CUDAA because she believes that it is a great way to interact with prospective students and potentially be the reason why they ultimately choose Cornell. In her opinion, no matter what committee a student joins, they will learn how to be a leader in their community and get to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, which has been very fulfilling for herself. Congratulations Navily!

  • ???Senior Spotlight??? Vianny Lara Vianny’s hometown is Bronx, NY. She is an Applied Economics and Management Major, concentrating in Strategy, with a Minor in Law and Society. Her interests include diversity, the beauty industry, fashion, and traveling. She aspires to be a brand strategist or marketing associate for a consumer goods company. Vianny is the Co-President of CUDAA. She got involved in CUDAA because she remembered that our advisor, Richard, organized some events with a non-profit organization that she was a part of before attending Cornell. She wanted to help students like herself continue their education and hopefully be admitted to Cornell. Her favorite CUDAA memory is last spring’s end of year celebration. She encourages students to join CUDAA if they want to make a significant impact on Cornell’s future. Congratulations Vianny!
