Supporting women and children in crisis on a first step to stability, Women Giving Back, Inc. provides quality clothing at no cost, assisted by a caring and committed community.?The WGB Store is filled with donated clothing, shoes, accessories, and other essentials for both women and children. ??The WGB Store is a vibrant space filled with donated clothing, shoes, accessories, and essential items for women and children. Clients of WGB are referred by case managers and social workers, with many residing in shelters or participating in transitional programs throughout the DMV area. Many arrive with only the clothes on their backs, and WGB helps them restock their basic necessities at no cost. Thanks to generous donations, the store ensures that these women and children have what they need to rebuild their lives and regain their dignity. Volunteers provide personalized service and uplifting interactions in a boutique-like atmosphere, fostering compassion and companionship during challenging times. ?? To show appreciation for those who serve/d, Women Giving Back will open the boutique to military families to shop at no cost this Friday, November 8th. ??Women's and children's clothing, shoes, and accessories will be available ?? Through her role as Director, she’s been a guiding force for veterans, assisting them with postsecondary education, employment, and accessing their earned benefits.
