Introducing our 2024-2025 CU in Space team! The second photo features our fierce project leads. The team has been divided up into small project groups to provide a more intimidate design and build experience. Our sub projects include: rocket design, avionics, air brakes, a hybrid motor test stand, an auto line cutter for parachute deployment, and manufacturing aids such as an adaptable fin jig. Stay tuned for upcoming posts about our designs!

Hello, we are CU Boulder's competition rocket team! We design, build, test, and launch high powered rockets. We also take pride in our extensive documentation of our engineering process! This is our second year as a club. Below is a brief summary of our past and present endeavors: 2023-2024: We participated in the NASA University Student Launch Initiative. For the competition, we built a high powered rocket that jettisoned a quadcopter while descending under parachute. We ranked top 10 out of 50 national teams and received three awards: Rookie of the Year, the AIAA Reusable Launch Vehicle Innovative Payload Award, and the Social Media award. 2024-2025: We are participating in the Argonia Cup. For this competition, we will build a high powered, two stage rocket capable of withstanding speeds of Mach 2!
