We had a wonderful time at the Veteran Community Resource Fair, hosted by Connecticut VA Healthcare at the Errera Center! It was such a joy to speak with so many Veterans, VA clinicians, and other community partners working together to ensure Veterans in Connecticut have everything they need to thrive. (It was also a bonus to spend some time with the charming equine therapy horses.)

U.S. District Court Judge Ana Reyes issued a nationwide preliminary injunction in Talbott v. Trump yesterday (Tuesday), blocking the Trans military ban that was poised to take effect this month. Thank you to GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD Law) and NCLR – National Center for Lesbian Rights for your advocacy, and thank you to the brave plaintiffs who stood up for all Americans' right to serve. This ruling does not have any impact on other policies relating to Trans service members or Veterans. We continue to keep a close eye on what is happening, and if you are a Connecticut Veteran we urge you to get in touch. You matter and we will continue to fight with you.

Today at 12pm, we will be joining Senator Richard Blumenthal, VFW, and American Legion to speak up for Veterans and the dedicated staff of the VA. These unpopular attacks on Veterans and service members have to stop, and we are proud to be part of the fight for justice for all who served. See image for more information. ??
