As we are getting things underway for the latest session of the Entrepreneurship Academy, we wanted to share the projects our students worked on during our last session with you again! The Carbondale Area students worked with Mike Moran, Owner and Operator of the Peanut Bar/Cashew Lounge on Cottage Street in Carbondale. Their project for 2024 focused on the marketing end of Mike’s operations. They came together to share their ideas for how to market the new venue and present some of the market research behind their recommendations. During her in-classroom sessions and the field trip to her offices, Laura Wielebinski, Owner and Realtor at Point W Real Estate, shared with the students how it is sometimes difficult for new residents to the area to discover activities and restaurants in their new towns; so she tasked the students with coming up with a “Welcome Flyer” for some of her listings, showcase local attractions around the properties that she has listed for sale.
