The Accessible Life Festival is an annual event arranged by the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, dedicated to celebrating inclusivity, accessibility and empathy. With activities such as blindfolded basketball and navigating obstacle courses without sight, the festival enables attendees to experience the challenges that people with physical impairments face every day – in order to foster empathy and understanding. A team of 14 members from the CTS Kaohsiung division in Taiwan volunteered at the festival, manning a booth from which they sold food, beverages and even their own handcrafted items – with all profits going to the good course of the festival. A big thank you to our caring colleagues who took time out of their busy schedule to support the festival. And thank you to the organizers of the event for raising awareness of such an important, though often neglected, issue. ? November will be a busy month for CTS, as we are attending a total of three trade shows – all of them in Germany - in the span of only ten days. On 6th - 9th, we will be in Dresden for the International Symposium on Piezocomposite Applications (ISPA), arranged by Fraunhofer IKTS. CTS has been a long-standing sponsor of the symposium, and this year is no exception. We will be showcasing our piezoelectric composite solutions for high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) and sonar applications at the event, and as a special treat, we will also host a masterclass workshop on the processing, modeling and future outlook for piezoelectric materials. On 11th – 14th, we are bringing our component solutions for the MedTech industry to the COMPAMED trade fair in Düsseldorf.
