We are thrilled to share a pivotal moment in the history of the Center for Process Studies, as we embark on a transformative new chapter. CPS and the Cobb Institute are merging! This merger marks the dawn of a new era, filled with potential, not only for our organizations but for the world as we confront some of the most pressing challenges of our time. Here's what's changing: CPS will serve as the sole legal and financial entity for the merged organization. This means that all donations intended to support the Cobb Institute should now be sent to CPS, as designated for Cobb Institute programs (i.e. education and community building). If you have the Cobb Institute in your will, please update your information to list the Center for Process Studies as the new beneficiary. What stays the same: While these institutional adjustments are important, the heart of our work remains unchanged. All existing program offerings of the Cobb Institute, such as John Cobb & Friends Gathering, online courses, learning circles, etc. will continue under CPS. CPS emerges in this new era, enriched by all that CI has become, committed to advancing social, spiritual, and environmental wellbeing through education, research, and community engagement. This merger enhances our ability to do so by consolidating resources and fostering synergy across our programs. How to help: With the CI/CPS merger, more will be possible than ever before. But if we’re going to make the most of these opportunities, we’ll need the support of friends and donors like you. Whether through financial gifts or sharing your skills as a volunteer, you can be a vital part of our future success. We invite you to join us in realizing this vision. Together, we can reshape the future of process thought and contribute to a world where personal flourishing, just and compassionate communities, and a healthy planet are not just ideals but realities. Up next on John Cobb & Friends: "Relational Abrahamic Faiths " | David Rosen, Osman ?rs, and Sheri D. Kling, PhD , December 3. Learn more & RSVP: https://buff.ly/3YYMTTl Several locations around the world have taken concrete steps toward interreligious understanding and relationship by creating communities of faith that house all three Abrahamic traditions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The House of One in Berlin, Germany and the Abrahamic Family House on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi are two such communities. Each has its own unique way of approaching its mission. Seeking to learn more, Sheri Kling, director of Process & Faith, reached out to invite a representative from each community to join her in this presentation to the Cobb & Friends gathering. Rabbi David Rosen and Imam Osman ?rs readily agreed. They’ll share highlights and images from their communities and discuss the joys and challenges they’ve experienced. Dr. Kling will facilitate the conversation.

Join Flagstaff College and author Austin Frerick for a conversation on his book Barons: Money, Power, and the Corruption of America's Food Industry. Barons is the story of seven titans of the food industry, their rise to power, and the consequences for workers, eaters, and democracy itself. Barons paints a stark portrait of corporate consolidation, but it also shows that a fair, healthy, and prosperous food industry is possible—if we take back power from the barons who have robbed us of it.
