I have been on a mission to empower clinicians to lead the healthcare transformation. That is why I love graduation celebration. I always feel like a proud Papa!!?Even after graduating 10,000+, it still feels GREAT to Celebrate the team investment in themselves and their accomplishments. Congratulations to?Millennium Physician Group's Physician Leadership Academy Graduates! I was thrilled to celebrate the graduation of their amazing academy, a collaborative initiative between Millennium and the?The Healthcare Leadership Institute (HLI)! Over 18 months, these exceptional physicians and advanced provider leaders dedicated themselves to developing critical leadership skills, traveling from Texas, New York, and across Florida to attend quarterly in-person sessions. The Millennium Physician Group (MPG) was formed in 2008 and has grown into one of the largest comprehensive primary care practices with 750+ providers located throughout Southwest Florida. The Millennium Physician Group Leadership Academy was designed for frontline leaders at MPG and included guidance through the nomination and selection process for the participants, design and customization of a curriculum, assessments and individual development plans, on-site learning sessions, and group coaching. The program consisted of two cohorts where we covered many topics: (1) Creating Clarity and Line of Sight (strategy), (2) Lead Self-First and Then Lead Others, (3) Inspiring Engagement in Change, (4) Leading Quality and Process Improvement, (5) Systems Thinking, and (6) Communication. Millennium Physician Group commitment to enhancing knowledge, skills, and professional growth is exemplary, and it has been an honor to partner with them throughout this transformational leadership development experience. Congratulations to each cohort member for their time, commitment, and leadership. Your dedication embodies our mission of empowering physician to lead, and create more physician-led organizations. Today, the Ministry of Health hosted an insightful session on Transformational Leadership: Leading Others Through Constraints, led by renowned healthcare transformation expert, Mr. Mo Kasti. The session was attended by the Hon'ble Health Minister, Hon'ble Health Secretary, department heads, and focal persons responsible for the 13th Five-Year Plan. The highly interactive session centered around establishing a clear line of sight, fostering coordination and collaboration within teams, and creating a shared vision to drive the organization forward despite numerous challenges. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their current strengths, identify key challenges, and define the desired state or vision they aspire to achieve. Mr. Kasti emphasized the importance of adopting a growth mindset that transforms constraints into opportunities for innovation and progress. Participating officials engaged in thoughtful discussions on practical strategies for overcoming obstacles, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring that leadership at every level is aligned with the Ministry's broader aspirations in the 13th Five-Year Plan. 30 hours later after a hurricane delay in Florida, I just arrived at the Kingdom of Bhutan to visit this beautiful country, to participate in the First Bhutan Innovation Forum, to meet and wok will the honorable prime minister and the honorable ministers, do some teaching about leadership and change management, to engage hands-on with the ministry of health on their transformation Journey.?Can't wait!!
