  • The Leadership Training Academy (LTA) is a yearlong collaborative and educational experience designed for current and emerging leaders across the organization to develop leadership and supervisory competencies. Participants form a learning community where they share knowledge about the organization’s culture, their individual departments, and the broader community. The program culminates in a Capstone project, which is presented to the Management team and often adopted into practice. This year, participants earned 23 CEU credits. Over the past year, leaders from CFA’s In-home, PQI, School-Based, Advancement, Outpatient, Medical, Client Support, and Family Resource Center programs participated in the LTA, led by Erin Saylor and Courtney Seely. On graduation day, participants presented their Capstone Projects, all focused on advancing CFA’s mission. Throughout the program, staff explored the connection between their Enneagram types and leadership styles, and gained skills in nonprofit governance, conflict management, continuous quality improvement, and program development. The Academy has equipped these leaders with the tools to make a lasting impact within their teams and the broader CFA community. We are very proud to present the following graduates of LTA Cohort 3: Jewell Jones, LCSW, ECMHC Supervisor Tiffany Allen-Zumun, APRN, FNP-C, Family Nurse Practitioner Supervisor Lily Cabanas, IMH-E, Senior Site Manager, Family Resource Center Kathryn Balestracci, LCSW, Senior Clinician, SBHC Claudia Carmona, LCSW, SBHC Supervisor/Bilingual Lead Clinician Katarina Moroch, MPA, Program Manager of Performance & Quality Improvement Ellie Lambert-Lauri, Advancement and Marketing Manager Veronica Findlay, LCSW, SBHC Supervisor Patricia Hennessy, LPC, Senior Clinician Trudy-Ann Solan, MFTA, FFT Clinician Jocelyn Chaplin, Client Support Specialist Program Coordinator Trainers: Erin Saylor, LCSW, Chief Operating Officer Courtney Seely, LCSW, Managing Director of Behavioral Health Services Courtney and Erin started the Leadership Training Academy in 2021 in response to the “Great Resignation” and a desire to invest meaningfully in our staff. Although it had been a goal for years, it was realized due to the significant need. Over the past three years, they have continued to refine and improve the Academy. This has been the most rewarding part of their roles, and they are incredibly proud of the staff they have supported and what they have built. They are now ready to hand it over to the capable hands of Directors Lauren Chaplin, Brittany Sanchez, and Mikayla Bozym, who will be leading Cohort 4. Cohort 4 will kick off in mid-October.
