Marketing tips from our Creative Director Morgan Nyerick (Wallace).
Ask yourself this question: What can I give? At its core, marketing is about building meaningful relationships. When we focus too much on what we can get from a campaign—more money, more views, more customers—it creates relationships built on manipulation and personal gain.?No matter how many marketing dollars are spent, our customers can often sense when sincerity is missing.?While we may see short-term results, our relationships will be transactional and fleeting. But when we shift our focus to what we can give—adding value, solving a problem, creating a meaningful experience—we foster lasting relationships built on shared joy. In turn, brand loyalty grows, and the money, views, and customers naturally follow. Take a deep breath. Put the budget down for now. Start daydreaming about how you can make your customer's world a better place. ?? World-class healthcare is just another reason why Connecticut is a great place to live, work, and visit. Quality of life here isn’t just good—it’s top-ranked. #MakeItHere
When it comes to healthcare, Connecticut doesn’t just show up—we lead. Four of our hospitals were just ranked among the?best in the world?by Newsweek, reinforcing what we already know: this state is an incredible place to live, work, and build a business. In 2024, Connecticut was also ranked a?top five state for healthcare access—because world-class hospitals only matter if people can actually access them. For businesses, that means a healthy, productive workforce. For workers and their families, it means peace of mind knowing they have some of the best medical care on the planet, right in their backyard. Great jobs, great communities, and some of the best hospitals in the world? Just another reason why Connecticut has experienced population and economic growth over the last few years. #MakeItHere #Connecticut #Healthcare #EconomicDevelopment

??Keep an eye out for what’s coming.
What started as a simple highway sign update has turned into a full-blown cultural moment. Our?"Welcome to Connecticut" highway signs aren’t just greetings—they’re conversation starters, internet sensations, and gradually becoming pop-culture icons. They’ve been featured on?national TV, sparked debates?online, and turned into points of pride, especially with a Geno Auriemma bobblehead coming out with his own personalized sign. People are even asking where they can buy magnets and T-shirts. This kind of organic energy is rare, and we’re leaning in—because people are suddenly listening to Connecticut when we stand up to speak. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements in the months ahead. Thank you to Dennis House for inviting me onto This Week in Connecticut. It's always great chatting with him. Also, a huge thank you to Commissioner Garrett Eucalitto and Jonathan Dach for the partnership in bringing these to life. I'm grateful to Governor Ned Lamont for always believing in how we are showing the world how Connecticut is one of the best damn places in the nation to live, work, and play. #MakeItHere #Connecticut #Marketing #PopCulture #HighwaySigns
